SERVICES
You've spent countless hours piecing your beautiful quilt top, and you are ready for it to be quilted! We provide excellent quality edge to edge longarm quilting at a reasonable price. We can also provide binding services so that when you receive your quilt, it will be ready for you to start enjoying!
PREPARING YOUR QUILT
Properly preparing your quilt saves us time and allows us to get your finished quilt back to you more quickly.

Press your quilt top and backing thoroughly.

Place a safety pin at the top of both the quilt and backing fabric.

If you pre-wash your fabrics, pre-wash all of them.

Clip all loose threads from the back and front of the quilt top.

Square up backing fabric.

Size your backing and batting a minimum of 4” larger than your quilt top on all four sides.

Do not baste, pin, or tack your quilt together. Simply fold each piece.

Be sure to remove all selvages when seaming your backing.

Be aware that fullness and puckers, which have been pieced in, cannot be quilted out.
BATTING
Yes - we have batting in stock! You are also welcome to bring your own.
Hobbs 80/20 Unbleached
More loft and less weight than traditional cotton batting; should be used with medium or dark fabrics.

100% cotton batting with no scrim, glues, or binders. Mid loft – the perfect mid-weight batting

Highly recommended for use when working with white or very light colored quilts. Keeps quilts made with white or light-colored fabrics nice and bright.

Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Request Loft
100% cotton batting with no scrim, glues, or binders. Low loft - excellent for light-weight summer quilts, baby quilts, table runners and place-mats.

Hobbs Tuscany Wool
Loft shows off quilting and wool has no "memory" for creasing. Ideal for use in all climates as the natural wool fiber breathes, allowing excess heat to disperse away from the body.

BINDING SERVICES
You provide the fabric, and we can assist with the final step! For our binding, we cut fabric strips at 2 1/2", then press in half. The binding is attached to the front of the quilt by machine then is wrapped to the back and sewn down by hand. The corners are mitered. We provide several levels of binding service:

Full binding - we make, attach, and hand or machine stitch

Attach only - you provide the binding, and we attach to the front.
PRICING INFORMATION

Edge to edge machine quilting: $0.02 per square inch; custom quilting $0.03 - $0.08 per square inch. Calculate by multiplying the quilt width times the length, then multiply that by the per square inch charge.

Binding Services:

Full hand binding: $0.25 per linear inch

Full machine binding: $0.20 per linear inch

Make and attach: $0.15 per linear inch

$1.50 per bobbin for standard thread

$2.00 per bobbin for premium thread (for example, variegated)

Small item set up fee: There is a $10 small item set up fee for any quilts less than 2,500 square inches

Pieced backings: There is a $10 charge per seam to piece backings

This may be the last decision that you make in the creation of your quilt, and it may be one of the most difficult, too! There are literally thousands of edge to edge longarm patterns available.
